DLR Maritime Safety and Security Lab
The DLR Maritime Safety and Security Lab in Bremen develops algorithms that extract information on the condition of the oceans derived from radar images collected by a variety of satellites while Neustrelitz develops the framework to process the data fully automated. This makes available final ocean products to users in near-real-time.

König und Partner
König und Partner Fernerkundung GbR (K&P) is a start-up company founded in January 2018. The goal of the foundation was to improve a sea ice algorithm which had been developed by the founders over many years on the basis of NOAA-AVHRR satellite data and was now to be transferred to the data of the new SLSTR instrument on board the Sentinel-3 satellites. K&P is located in the greater Munich area, Germany.
